Maxitrol R500Z-1/2 Zero Governor Balanced Valve Design Gas Pressure Regulator is applicable for natural gas, manufactured, mixed gases, liquified petroleum gases, and LP gas-air mixtures. This model has a 1/2" x 1/2" NPT pipe connection and 1 psi (68 mbar) maximum inlet pressure.
The Maxitrol RZ Regulators balanced valve construction provides excellent performance and is suitable for air-gas mixing applications. They are used for flow control of burners, nozzle mixers, mixing tees, and proportional premixers. It can also be used for outlet pressures close to atmospheric, from slightly above to slightly below (-1.0” to 1.5” w.c.; -2.5 mbar to 3.75 mbar).
Note: The regulator should be mounted upright only.
