The Maxitrol R500S-3/4 is a double diaphragm balanced valve gas regulator with a 3/4" threaded connection and 1/8" NPT vent connection. Its maximum allowable inlet pressure is up to 5 PSI. Uses a spring to set outlet pressure, ranging from 3" to 6" W.C.
The R/RS Gas Regulators are designed for use to control or set a stable outlet pressure on burners and pilot load applications. Ideal for appliances like heaters and boilers that use natural, manufactured, mixed gases, liquefied petroleum gases, and LP gas-air mixtures.
This type of valve regulator can be mounted in any position. If a ball check vent limiting device were installed, mount the regulator in an upright position.
